We are committed to controlling and preventing the spread of invasive species in Carbon County. That work couldn’t be done without the help of our seasonal crews. Running from May to August/September, our crews work roughly 40 hours a week managing herbicide treatments across a multitude of different terrain. From county roads to the banks and islands of the North Platte river to the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest and everywhere in between, our crews make sure that our sage-steppe ecosystem is healthy and thriving.
